Are flights included in the price?

No, you should organise your own flights to arrive into Faro on Thursday 17th September, departing Faro Monday 21st September. You can fly out of Faro on the evening of Sunday 20th if you prefer. 

Can you recommend any flights?

Faro is well served from dozens of European airports and is generally around a 2.5 hour direct flight. 

Is car hire or transport required?

No ! We will be arranging airport collections/drop offs and all transfers to the golf courses each day. 

Where is the event taking place?

On the Algarve in Southern Portugal. 

What are the dates of the break including travel?

Travel out anytime Thursday 17th Sept, home Monday 21st Sept (late flight Sunday 20th Sept if you prefer.) 


Are meals provided during the trip?

Your team villa will have a stocked kitchen for breakfasts and refreshments. Meals are then on your own account, but most likely to be taken at the clubhouse for lunches/snacks, and locally in the evenings where you can join the group or explore on your own. 

Is accommodation provided?

Yes. Each team will have their own private 4 bedroom villa. 

Do I have to share a bedroom?

No. Your villa will have private double rooms for single occupancy. 

Can I bring a non-golfer on the trip? How much will it cost?

Yes. The non-golfer can share your room. Cost is £200 including transport and accommodation. 


We don't have a team of three, can we still compete in the tournament?

Teams will be made up of 4 players, 1 Pro and 3 amateurs. If you cannot enter a full team, you may still complete a booking form and we will endeavour to team you up with others. We cannot guarantee this, but will of course do our best. 

Can I enter as a single amateur golfer?

Yes, and we will try to team you up with other singles. Not guaranteed, but we'll do our best for you. 

What are the tournament rules?

3 rounds, best 2 from 4 Stableford. 

What courses will be played in the tournament?

3 of Europe's finest courses, Quinta South, Quinta North and Laranjal 

Can I enter the tournament as a PGA professional?

Yes, and you can bring your own team of 3 amateurs or we will try and team you up if you don't have guests. 

Can I enter more than one team?

Yes, just complete a separate booking form for each team. 


Is there access to a caddie during the tournament?

No. But you will be playing with a golf professional and buggies are included. 

Is equipment available to hire/do I have to bring my own clubs?

Most players like to have their own equipment, but we can arrange club hire if you prefer. 

What are the dress codes for the courses?

Normal rules apply, including collar and soft spikes only. 


Is a deposit required? When is the final payment due

A deposit of £300 per team member is due on booking confirmation. Balance is payable by 1st June 2015. 

What methods can I used to pay for the trip?

Credit/debit card, cheque or bank transfer.
